Dates: January 29 – February 1, 2026 (Thursday to Sunday)
Accommodation: Local home rental central to the Summit at Snoqualmie ski areas
Resorts: Summit at Snoqualmie and Alpental
Recommended Ability Level: Low Intermediate to Expert

Accommodation: 3 nights in ski-lodge-style accommodations

The slopes at Summit at Snoqualmie and Alpental punch way above their weight for how close to Seattle they are.
Day 1 – Thursday, January 29th: Arrival + Welcome Night
Arrival Window: Find your carpool at the Seattle airport (for those who live in Seattle, we’ll meet in a more central location). Drive roughly 60-90 minutes to the accommodation.
Welcome Dinner & Kick-Off:
Home-cooked fresh pasta dinner by the PeakRankings team.
Check into the house with icebreakers to meet the group.
Après at the Chalet (Optional):
Complimentary beer and hard seltzer are available.
Chill night in with games and trip overview.
Option to night ski until 9:30pm for those eager for turns!
Option to walk around the base areas to see the handful of restaurants and the local brewery.
Day 2 – Friday, January 30th: Summit Central and East
Day 2 is designed to connect the group on the first day of skiing and riding. Get some good warmups in and figure out who you want to ski/ride with for the rest of the trip.
Breakfast: Hearty home-cooked breakfast. Sandwich fixings and snacks available for lunch on the slopes.
Morning & Afternoon Ski Sessions:
Beginners: Stick to Summit Central’s mellow greens like Gallery and Holiday.
Intermediates: Hit central express for some steeper blues and Triple 60 for challenging mogul runs.
Option to use the crossover to East for an adventure.
Advanced/Experts: Take on East Peak and the steep tree lines off Triple 60.
Look for powder stashes and explore the whole mountain.
Hit some jumps and tricks in the park under Central Express.
Optional Lunch: Meet at the Summit Central Lodge around noon. Pack your own sandwich or grab food on-site (~$15-$25).
Afternoon Ski Session: Continue exploring based on your level or join a group tour of the mountain’s best runs.
Après at the Chalet: Relax with hors d'oeuvres and drinks.
Dinner: Burger and chicken sandwich night (vegetarian options available).
Evening Social:
Card games, music, and more beverages in the common area.
OR hit the slopes for night skiing at Summit West until 9:30pm!

Day 3 – Saturday, January 31: Alpental
Breakfast: Another hearty breakfast to fuel the day.
Morning Ski Session at Alpental:
Goal: Let the advanced and expert skiers challenge themselves with steeps and help the beginners grow into steeper terrain.
Beginners: Explore St. Bernard, Sessel, and Armstrong Express for green and blue runs like Sessel and Debbie’s Gold. True beginners also have the option of skiing at Summit West if the greens at Alpental are too challenging.
Intermediates: Head to Chair 2 for a challenge and stunning views.
Advanced/Experts: Hit steep lines off the brand new Internationale chair.
Option to explore the back bowls on your own and at your own risk. Peak Rankings is not guiding this or any other components of the trip! (Avalanche safety gear required!)
Optional Lunch: Meet at the Alpental Lodge or enjoy packed sandwiches.
Après at the House: Wind down with snacks and drinks.
Dinner: Home-cooked family-style taco night!
Optional Group Outing
Head to Dru Bru Brewery for beers until 9pm.
Head to nearby North Bend for drinks or live music.
Enjoy a movie night back at the house.
OR hit the slopes for night skiing at Summit Central until 9:30pm!
Day 4 – Sunday, February 1: Summit West and Alpental
Breakfast: Hearty breakfast at the house.
Morning & Afternoon Ski Sessions:
Beginners: Explore your favorite beginner area and work up to the great blue groomed terrain at Summit West. Option to try a crossover trail (discuss with the intermediates from day 1 who explored these).
Intermediates: Option to explore Alpental further or pivot back to Summit Central for more groomer diversity and the park.
Advanced/Experts: Head to Alpental for another day of skiing. Option to explore the back bowls (avalanche safety gear & knowledge required!).
Optional Lunch: Group meet-ups by ability level at the corresponding resort or enjoy packed sandwiches. Opportunity to depart early if travel requires an early departure.
Evening Reflections & Social (Optional): Final day to share highlights, swap photos, and hang out one last time at Dru Bru before heading home.
