49° North, Silver Mountain, Tamarack, and Brundage. This Indy Pass-based road trip will explore a remote, underrated, and quiet region of North America for skiing, featuring incredible views, rugged natural terrain, and minimal lift lines.

Accommodation: 3 nights in Spokane / Coeur d’Alene, WA area, 4 nights in McCall, ID area

Recommended Ability Level: Intermediate to Expert

This is an INDY PASS based road trip, and all resorts visited will be partnered with that pass product.

What’s Included

The resorts of the inland Northwest feature incredible - and rarely discussed - views from their slopes.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area (February 12, 2027)

  • Arrival at Spokane International Airport (GEG)

  • Meet your carpool group - Collect luggage and ski gear and pick up rental vehicles.

  • Check into accommodations in Spokane area upon arrival.
    Get settled and organize gear.

  • Welcome dinner at the accommodations and overview of the week’s flow, including driving distances and mountain plan.

Day 2: 49° North (February 13, 2027)

  • Breakfast - Load up on a warm meal at the accommodations

  • First Day of Skiing at 49° North

    • Classic Inland Northwest mountain known for its approachable layout, uncrowded slopes, and variety of terrain.

    • This is an ideal first ski day to get legs under you, with long cruisers for warm-up laps and steeper pitches available for those looking to push it. Expect a relaxed vibe and plenty of space to spread out.

  • Return to accommodations

    Recover from the first full day with a relaxing group dinner at the accommodations.

 

49° North features diverse terrain for all abilities for its size.

 

Day 3: Silver Mountain (February 14, 2027)

  • Breakfast - Another hearty meal before heading to our second resort.

  • Second Day Skiing at Revelstoke

    • Silver Mountain offers a very different experience, starting with a scenic gondola ride into expansive terrain that feels far removed from crowds.

    • The mountain delivers a mix of long groomers, gladed runs, and more challenging zones as you move higher. Snow quality is often excellent, and the variety makes this a strong full-day destination.

  • Return to accommodations after the second full day on the mountain.

Day 4: Travel Day → McCall, Idaho/Brundage (February 15, 2027)

  • Breakfast & Check Out

  • Drive to McCall, Idaho

  • Optional half day at Brundage - Starting around 1PM.

  • Accommodations Check-In upon arrival before going to dinner.

  • Optional casual group dinner - we will dine at a local favorite in town.

 

Some of Tamarack’s terrain offers snow and views to rival the best in North America.

 

Day 5: Tamarack (February 16, 2027)

  • Breakfast - Fresh coffee and a warm meal before another big day on the slopes.

  • Full Day Skiing at Tamarack Resort

    • Tamarack offers a mix of groomed runs, gladed terrain, and excellent views, making it a great mountain for both strong intermediates and advanced skiers

  • Return to accommodations - Recharge and reset over a group dinner

Day 6: Brundage Mountain (February 17, 2027)

  • Breakfast: - A filling morning meal for the final resort of the trip

  • Brundage is known for its consistent snow quality, open bowls, and uncrowded feel. This is a mountain that rewards exploration and offers a true “locals’ favorite” experience.

    • Expect a full day of varied terrain, with options ranging from smooth cruisers to steeper lines for those looking to step it up.

  • Return to accommodations

  • Optional group dinner in the town of McCall.

 

Brundage has some of the best snow in the region.

 

Day 7: Flex Day & Optional Add-Ons (February 18, 2027)

  • Breakfast - Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the accommodations before setting out on any plans for the day.

  • This day is intentionally flexible and may include:

    • A return to Tamarack or Brundage to revisit favorite terrain

    • A lighter ski day or rest/recovery option in McCall

  • Return to accommodations

  • Farewell Group Dinner - Celebrate the week of new connections and new adventures.

Day 8: Departure (February 19, 2027)

  • Breakfast & Check-Out

  • Departure Drive - Drive back toward departure airport (Spokane or Boise for most, coordinated). Return rental vehicles and head home.

  • Optional Addendum - An optional addendum to Lookout Pass or Lost Trail (conditions and logistics permitting) may be offered.
