Reservation Restrictions Lifted at Several Ikon Resorts

As of this week, Ikon passholders no longer need to make reservations to access several partner resorts. According to an email sent by Ikon, access to Aspen/Snowmass, Brighton, Crystal, and Winter Park is now completely reservation-free. Parking reservations have been completely eliminated at Killington and Pico, while these restrictions have been considerably relaxed at Copper, Eldora, and Snowbird.

The most up-to-date Ikon reservation policies can be found here.

Our Take

It’s pretty much the end of the season at this point, so we don’t expect most passholders to experience a significant impact from these changes. However, these relaxations might give a handful of passholders who weren’t able to use their passes during busier times the opportunity to do so now. Copper already announced their relaxed parking policies last week, so it’s not a huge surprise that several affiliated resorts have now followed up with this similar announcement.

Notably missing from this announcement is Mount Bachelor, which is the only Powdr-owned Ikon resort that didn’t see a relaxation to parking restrictions this week. However, Bachelor’s season regularly extends until May, so demand at the resort may still be quite high.
