What PeakHouse Guests Say
This was an incredible ski trip. Alex was a fantastic manager: kind, patient, and clearly working hard all week to make sure everyone had a great experience. It was a lot of fun skiing together as a group and finding the best terrain at the right time of day. The group itself was great too, a really good group of people who were sociable and fun to ski with. The food and lodging were excellent as well, it really felt like every detail had been well covered. A truly memorable week. This was my first trip with PeakRankings, but I will definitely be doing another one soon.
I've skied over a hundred days in my life and those 4 PeakHouse days are the most memorable ones.
PeakHouse trips seem to eliminate one of the biggest risks in traveling - accidently inviting the wrong people to travel with. It's great to find an active group that share similar interests and quickly bond that also manages to offer an affordable travel opportunity.
The trip was way better than I expected. I was super nervous about keeping up, but the group was extremely welcoming and assured me that it was okay to take it at my own pace. There was zero pressure to push myself beyond my comfort levels.
I appreciated the unique itinerary seeing many resorts within a short timeframe, seeing the countryside, finding someone to ski with to explore areas I wouldn't hit alone, and those legendary Niseko gates which lived up to expectations and then some!
The trip was beyond expectation. Everyone had a great time on and off the slopes. Accommodations and transportations were great. Alex did a great job leading the trip.
Its just awesome getting to meet and ski with new people, and its an awesome chance to ski with really good skiers and learn new terrain with a group. really really enjoyed how off-piste/sidecountry avid the climate was.
Peakhouse Whistler was the greatest trip of my life. This being my first big mountain I came into this not knowing what to expect. I found that it was absolutely insane how large and fun whistler is and also just how good the group was.
PeakHouse was a great experience, and I met so many nice people. It was a real treat to ski with so many GOOD skiers. The cold weather adversity brought us all together.
I dreamed of a fun trip and my dream was blown out of the water by actuality.
I used this trip as my first taste of international ski travel and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere that was organically created was amazing and I don't think could be replicated. A solid group who gave me good access to a ski community.
This truly was an amazing experience. I'm super happy that I took the leap of faith. I got to learn so much from so many amazing people, and it was super cool to meet a bunch of individuals from all over who have a lot of similar interests (skiing hiking, outdoors, snowboard slander, etc). Super happy that I got to have this experience, and Banff was truly everything it was cracked up to be. So awesome to be apart of this community, and massive kudos to Sam and the team for cultivating such an awesome community. Even for someone (in decent shape) who had never done serious hikes, it was all within everyone's range of ability. A once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget.
I cannot express how happy I am to have come across these opportunities and to have taken a chance on on attending. These experiences have been a much welcomed change from the norm to discover new worlds, and even better, to go through the same experience with people who have appreciated the moment just as much. After every trip I have personally had much to reflect on: the world we live in, the snowboard and ski community, interactions with people with different life experience and from different generations, and not least of all, myself. I believe that the lessons learned here would never have been attained if not for walking off the beaten path to visit at PeakHouse.
