Multiple North American Resorts Opening Tomorrow, November 20

Several Colorado Ski Resorts Forced to Shutter Indoor Dining as COVID Cases Surge
With a substantial and alarming rise in COVID cases over the past few weeks, Colorado plans to move 15 counties into the state’s Level Red (Severe) COVID risk tier. The order goes into effect Friday, November 20 (although Summit County may receive a postponement to Sunday).
Steamboat and Tremblant Delay Opening Dates, Stratton May Do the Same
Tremblant, Steamboat, and Stratton suggested later starts to the 2020-21 season than previously planned, making them the third, fourth, and fifth mountains owned by Alterra to make such announcements.
Breckenridge Opening Tomorrow, November 13; Opening Week Completely Booked
Breckenridge is set to open for the 2020-21 season tomorrow, November 13, following in the footsteps of several other nearby Front Range resorts. All reservations for the upcoming week are completely booked, but nearby Keystone still has some open spots.
Killington and Mount Snow Delay 2020-21 Openings, Loveland to Open Tomorrow
Abnormally warm temperatures have forced both Vermont resorts to push back their expected November 14 openings, while Loveland plans to open with one lift servicing three trails.
Arapahoe Basin Abruptly Opens for the Season Today
Early this afternoon, Arapahoe Basin announced its 2020-21 season opening via tweet. The resort’s Black Mountain Express, which will only service the High Noon trail, will be open until 4:30pm today for Season, Any Day, and Ikon Passholders.
